Pricing Manager – Loveland, CO

Reporting to the Director of Pricing, the Pricing Manager will be responsible for, in collaboration with sales leadership, all elements of pricing implementation in North America, including the introduction of a new pricing software, Vendavo, and training the Nutrien Ag Solutions personnel while tracking/measuring performance to ensure pricing and margin improvements.

What you will do:

  • Lead pricing initiatives in the field to include:Successful launch of Vendavo pricing software into the US and Canadian retail businessesLead field training of Vendavo pricing software to include Regional, Divisional, and Locational personnelCommunicate regularly with field leadership teams to identify and correct opportunities for margin improvement with better pricing practicesOrganize field meetings to ensure organizational alignment, update teams on active participation and review progress towards budgeted goalsOther duties as needed by the Marketing department
  • Develop materials and conduct training sessions with field on an on-going basis
  • Review pricing reports with marketing and sales managers either in person or through webinars
  • Understand gaps in pricing process and develop a continuous improvement plan with the sales leadership team
  • Work across multiple departments to provide necessary tools and insights to the field as required
  • What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Ag-related field
  • 8+ years of related experience in an ag role; prior experience in training field sales preferred
  • Knowledge in concepts of pricing, customer segmentation and customer analytics
  • High level of proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint, and a basic level of understanding with other Microsoft office products – Power BI experience a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel
  • Travel Requirements: 30-50%, North America Only
